It can be tough to stick with your exercise if you try to do it alone.
The longer you know people, the more familiar you become with their habits. I have a friend of mine who is always talking about working out. She starts and before long, she mysteriously stops. Six months to a year will pass and she speaks about working out again. I am always the first person (and probably the only person) she calls when she decides that she wants to begin yet another training regimen. She has consistently stated that she cannot start a workout regimen unless she has someone to work out with her. That someone always tends to be me. I have absolutely no problem helping her out when it comes to doing this. in my heart of hearts, I hope that our new-found workout plan results in consistency. The end result is her reaching her fitness goals.
Find out how I keep fitness going outside of the gym.
We have all been newbies in the gym before. There are always
new people walking into the gym with different goals. People want to see how it
is to work out. Some others are trying to maximize their Groupon discounts for
as long as the exclusive offer they purchased will allow. For the most part, the
majority of them are there to begin embarking on a brand-new fitness journey.
Sometimes it's easy to spot a newbie. A person floating from machine to machine
trying to figure out exactly how to use it. Paying incredibly careful attention
to the instructions on the machine to make sure they execute everything
correctly. There is so much uncertainty that comes with beginning a brand-new
fitness regimen. Sure, it's easy to get on the machine and do something. the
problem is you don't always know if you're doing it right.
If there's anything I've learned about success, it's that
success happens overtime and not overnight. It's easy to get discouraged if you
do not see immediate results. Well, I hate to break it to a few of you, but
fitness results don't come in the next day. For this reason, people will get
discouraged. You must stay the course to reach your goal. Sure, it may be hard at first but start and keep going. The rest will take care of itself.
